So funktioniert's

• Voraussetzung ist ein Abo der GGG Stadtbibliothek Basel
• Login mit Ihrer Bibliotheksnummer (die Nummer Ihrer Bibliothekskarte) und Ihrem Passwort (standardmässig Ihr Geburtstagsdatum im Format TTMMJJ)
• Funktioniert mit den gängigen E-Book Readern (nicht Kindle) sowie auf dem Smartphone, Tablet und Computer
• Kann im Browser oder in der App «Libby» genutzt werden
• Für Ausleihe und Download ist eine Internetverbindung erforderlich, danach lassen sich alle Inhalte auch offline nutzen.

Die Ausleihkonditionen

• Bis zu 8 E-Medien Medien gleichzeitig
• Die Ausleihdauer beträgt bis zu 21 Tage
• Eine Verlängerung ist gegen Ende der Leihfrist möglich
• Reservationen sind möglich
• Die Digitale Bibliothek ist in allen Abos (ausser Open-Library-Abo) inklusive

English-language e-books and audiobooks for adults.

With a valid library card you have access to an array of digital resources around the clock, 7 days a week from wherever you are. You can read digital items on your e-book reader, tablet, smartphone or computer.

How it works

• You need a subscription to the GGG Stadtbibliothek Basel, which entitles you to a library card
• Log in with your account number (the number on your library card) and your password (by default your date of birth in this format DDMMYY).
• The digital library is accessible on smartphones, tablets and computers as well as popular e-book readers (not Kindle)
• You can access the digital library in your browser or in the "Libby" app
• An Internet connection is required for borrowing and downloading, after which all content can also be accessed offline.

Borrowing digital items

• You can check out a total of 8 digital items at one time
• The loan period for digital items is up to 21 days
• When the loan period is nearly up, you have the option to extend
• You have the option to reserve items
• The digital library is included in every subscription
