Rahn Slide Collection
The Rahn slide collection is composed of several hundred slides of paintings from all epochs of art. Hans Conrad Rahn (1902-1989), a businessman from Zürich, put together this collection from the most famous museums of the world. The GGG City Library received the collection from the Archive of Swiss Art History in Basle, and in connection with a thesis it was opened to the general public.
It is available to you in a separate catalog, in which you can search, for example, by artist, motive, or museum.
The slides can be found in a repository at the main library. To borrow slides, please contact the staff there.
